Todd Dailey

I founded Dayward AI, my practice in San Jose, to help companies position and explain their AI, and to build things with it.

Before that I spent 22 years at Apple. For fifteen of them I gave technical demos and presentations to CxOs, and even heads of state, from around the globe. In my last three I helped launch Apple's AI and shaped how Apple Intelligence was positioned.

Working with me

A project. One thing, like a launch narrative, an executive deck or a small app built with AI, done in one to four weeks.

A retainer. For steady AI work: a set number of my hours each month, three months minimum. Some clients use those hours to have me look after their sites, with new features, data checks and backups.

Private work. For businesses, families, the people who run their affairs, or anyone who needs it kept quiet. Often that's a private AI on their own hardware, so nothing leaves the building, or a searchable catalog of an art collection or decades of papers. It's confidential and usually comes by referral.

Talks and briefings. For boards, offsites and conferences, where I show what today's AI tools can and can't do, live. I've given thousands of presentations. I can explain hard things.

Art and artists. I've been building AI and generative art tooling for artists since 2021, and several of their projects have launched successfully. Talk to me about your completely unreasonable idea and let's see if we can make it real.
